This shiny hunk is Shadow, a 5 year old male German Shepherd.   Now that the children are leaving the roost and both parents work long hours, they know he is not getting the exercise and attention a lively dog like him needs.  Shadow is alone most of the time and although it breaks their hearts, they know he deserves better.

 

Shadow has been with the same family since puppyhood.  He lives with a small mixed breed dog and they are great pals.   He's not had much interactions with larger dogs because he tends to be a bit dominant towards them.  Shadow's favorite thing is to play ball and would thrive in a home where he'd have more playtime.

 

Shadow is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.
